Dr. Miklós Stettner Attorney at law

Miklós graduated at the Faculty of Law of the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary in 2010, and obtained a postgraduate degree in investment, corporate finance and stock exchange law in 2014 at the Institute for Postgraduate Legal Studies of the Eötvös Lóránd University.

After six months of internship at the Hungarian Competition Authority, he has been working at Lajer Law Firm for more than ten years, first as an associate and in 2015 he became a partner as lawyer in the partnership.

His specialization lies in commercial law, real estate law, banking law, data protection law and competition law. His responsibilities include supporting the internal audit, compliance and intermediation of financial institutions, as well as representation in court proceedings and before the Financial Arbitration Board.

Miklós has completed numerous data protection compliance projects and for several clients he has prepared data protection documentation and processes in accordance with legal requirements, meanwhile he has earned the appreciation of our clients with his solution-oriented attitude and expertise.

He regularly provides legal service for clients to comply with legal requirements and participates in the development and updating of the necessary internal regulations and processes. In addition, he has excellent professional experience in the areas of legal advice, litigation, competition and data protection regulations for companies operating in the trade, real estate market and agriculture.

He is native Hungarian and fluent in German and English.
